ITB 2014 – Travel the World

The International Travel Trade Fair, or ITB 2014, world’s largest tourism trade fair, took place during the last 5 days in Berlin, with hotels, tourist boards, tour operators, system providers, airlines and car rental companies advertising their products.

This year, 10,147 exhibitors from 189 countries were represented in 26 halls, which were booked to capacity. Overall, some 114,000 trade visitors travelled to Berlin and 60,000 members of the general public came to find out about the wide-ranging information on offer from exhibitors and providers of niche market products.

IFA13 – Consumer Electronics Unlimited

Once again, Berlin is host for the world‘s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances where visitors have the chance to experience everything new when it comes to smartphones, tablets, television and video.

From Ultra-HD (4K resolution) displays, to Smart TVs and Networked Home Appliances. IFA 2013 is where industry experts and media representatives discuss topics ranging from social media and smart homes, to digital ecosystems and energy efficiency.

As a global trade show for the digital world, IFA offers excellent opportunities to learn about the upcoming changes and prospects for the future. Take advantage of the opportunities at IFA to gain exclusive knowledge and get a head start on what is yet to come.

ITB 2012 – Around The World In Two Days

The ITB, the world’s leading international travel trade fair has ended yesterday, after 3 days for trade visitors and 2 days for the general public. It was again the platform where the worldwide tourism industry could obtain information, sign contracts, cultivate contacts and identify moods. For five days Berlin’s exhibition halls were the meeting place and the focal point for the international tourism world.

And for the first time, on the evening preceding the start of ITB Berlin, a reception was held for bloggers from all over the world, organized specifically to serve the interests of bloggers, this event attracted over 120 of them from more than 10 countries. Seems like the blogging scene will be more and more important for future events and exhibitions.

IFA11 – Get In Touch


IFA 2011 is coming to an end, tomorrow will be the last chance to visit the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances.

The world’s most important and largest trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, IFA 2011, began on 2 September with a further 4 per cent increase in the rented display area and 1,441 exhibitors (+ 1%). Taking as its slogan this year “Get in touch”, it resumes its successful progress as it continues to consolidate its leading position in the world.

Surely I went there to see what’s new on the market and of course I took a couple of pictures to give you some impressions from this year’s trade show.

GamesCom 2011 Press Day

Welcome to the World’s largest trade fair and event highlight for interactive games and entertainment, with 550 exhibitors (500 in 2010) and almost 40 countries (33 in 2010) on 120.000 m² of floor space. Okay, enough with the numbers, here are the first pictures from this years press day at Gamescom Cologne 2011.

ITB 2011 – Truly Inspiring

The ITB 2011 (International Trade Fair Berlin) the world’s leading trade show took place during the last few days, with 11,163 exhibiting companies and organisations from 188 countries (2010: 11,127 from 187 countries), approx. 170,000 visitors and 7,000 journalists from 94 countries with this years Partner Country, Poland.

And because everyone used the same decoration like last year, I focused on showing you the different people and attractions from the different countries who participated in this year’s fair.

IFA10 – The world in 3D

The topic of this years IFA (International Electronics Fair) was obviously 3D. 3D with glasses, 3D without glasses, 3D on your TV, your gaming console and your cinema screen.

You might say, 3D isn’t even new, it’s at least 1 year old, because Avatar was shown in 3D in 2009. But now, it has moved from the big screen to your TV and in some rare cases, even without wearing glasses.

And because everyone looks funny wearing these specs, let me show you some pictures so you can familiarize with it, because you will see them a lot more in the future, maybe.

Leipzig Book Fair 2010

Last weekend, I was in Leipzig to visit the Leipzig Book Fair 2010.

The Leipzig Book Fair is the most important spring meeting place for the publishing and media sector and has evolved into an attractive hallmark both in Germany and across Europe.

But after I arrived at the exhibition grounds, it was obvious that the fair isn’t only about Books anymore. Cosplayers, as far as the eye could see.

Since Animes and Mangas are becoming more and more famous in Germany, Cosplay is pretty popular among the fans and instead of taking pictures from books and their authors, I focused on capturing all the amazing costumes I saw during my time at the fair.
