The German Premiere of Sex Tape took place on Friday, September 6, 2014 in Berlin’s Sony Center, with actress Cameron Diaz and actor Jason Segel.
They both play a couple which discovers, that their self made sex tape was accidentally uploaded to the cloud and sent to various tablets, leading to a series of awkward encounters and close calls.
The new action movie Hercules, directed by Brett Ratner, celebrated its European Premiere at Berlin’s Sony Center on Thursday August 21. WWE star and main actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson together with Irina Shayk, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Aksel Hennie, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Reece Ritchie and also director Brett Ratner himself attended the premiere.
After the World Premiere took place in Hong Kong, Transformers: Age of Extinction
(Ger: Transformers 4: Ära des Untergangs) the latest title of the Transformers film series celebrated its European Premiere on Sunday, June 29 at the Sony Center in Berlin.
Director Michael Bay, attended the Premiere together with his crew, actors Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Bingbing Li and producer duo Ian Bryce and Lorenzo di Bonaventura.
The movie, which starts a completely new trilogy with new actors and a new story, will hit cinemas in German speaking regions on July 17, 2014.
The Sony Center in Berlin was again, venue for a movie premiere, Blended (Ger: Urlaubsreif), cleberated its world premiere, with actors Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, as well as director Frank Coraci on Monday, May 19.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the second part of the “Amazing Spider-Man Film Series”, celebrated its German Premiere on Tuesday April 14, at the Sony Center in Berlin, with director Marc Webb and producer Matt Tolmach.
Like last time, the main cast, Andrew Garfield, and Emma Stone were part of the celebrations, but this year, together with Jamie Foxx and Dane DeHaan with his wife, Anna Wood.

The European Premiere of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (de: Der Hobbit – Smaugs Einöde) took place on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Sony Center in Berlin. It was the biggest premiere Berlin ever had with a 160m long red carpet and fans and press from all over Europe.
Director Peter Jackson together with Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sylvester McCoy, Mikael Persbrandt, Aidan Turner, Ken Stott, James Nesbitt, Adam Brown, Graham McTavish, Dean O’Gorman, Ryan Gage, John Bell and even Ed Sheeran, singer and songwriter of the theme song “I See Fire” walked the carpet.
The Playstation 4 will launch tomorrow in Europe, but today, Sony Computer Entertainment hosted a huge Party and an exclusive pre-sale in the middle of the Sony Center in Berlin.

Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) together with Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) and director Alan Taylor (who also directed the Game of Thrones TV series) walked the carpet.
Hundreds of fans waited up to 24 hours to get an autograph or even a picture with one of their beloved actors. The event was live-streamed on different websites and also in selected cinemas throughout Germany.
