Darth Vader is in town and he roams around the Brandenburg Gate, but beware, if you threaten him he will challenge you to a lightsaber duel, but if you ask him friendly for a direction, he will kindly help you out.

From the Potsdamer Platz through the Friedrichstraße to the Brandenburg Gate, the Coca Cola Christmas Trucks were on a tour through Berlin once again. Like last year, it was the coldest day of the year (-13°C), only the heavy snowfall was missing.
The Christmas Bike Tour this year was a bit small, probably because the weather was just awful, but heavy rain can’t harm a real biker.
The Christmas Bike Tour is an annual event where hundreds of bikers, dressed in Christmas costumes, are driving through the city giving gifts, they have collected during the year, to poor children and social institutions.
Here are some picture from this years event.
A wax figure of pop idol Lady Gaga was unveiled today at Madame Tussauds in Berlin and simultaneously, in seven other cities across the globe.
The figures, each dressed differently in celebration of the star’s provocative style, were created over four months in West London, with each one costing £150,000.
The Cataclysm has finally arrived in Europe and the United States and I know everyone is busy leveling up their characters but for those who are interested to see how Blizzard celebrated the release of their newest Add-On in other cities around the world,
I have a couple of pictures from the World of Warcraft Cataclysm Launch Event in Berlin with today’s special guests, Lead Encounter Designer Scott Mercer and Lead Software Engineer Patrick Magruder, who gladly signed everyone’s newly purchased copy of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
Since April 2004, the MTV-Germany headquarters are located at Berlin’s Osthafen (East Port) (which lies along the Spree in Friedrichshain.), right beside Universal Music and Hugo Boss. The main building was put under a monument protection a couple of years ago, but MTV has found a way to “pimp up” the boring-looking terrain.
Sebastian Vettel, the youngest Formula One World Champion ever, who won the title on Nov. 14 at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, celebrated his victory by driving his 750hp race car in front of the Brandenburger Tor.
It was freaking cold but an amazing show, about 85.000 people came to see Vettel and his RB6 (called “Randy Mandy”) speeding down the Straße des 17. Juni.
Three pieces of the Berlin Wall were placed in front of the famous Paris Bar in Berlin’s district Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf.
The Paris Bar is a place where artists, writers, journalist and film stars typically congregate and where Iggy Pop once gave a Rolling Stone journalist a blitzed interview that ended with him rolling around on the sidewalk out front. The French bistro has been a local favorite since it cheered up the postwar years in dismal bombed-out Berlin.
The pieces, each 3,60 meters high and 1,20 meters wide, were designed by the owner himself, of course, the owner of the Paris Bar, not the Berlin Wall.
This amazing Mural on two large walls at Cuvrystraße 50 in Berlin Kreuzberg, was created by the Italian artist Blu back in 2007.
You will see a lot of stuff when you visit the Brandenburg Gate, even at night and while it’s getting cold outside and everyone is wearing their winter jackets, some brave fire dancers thought it would be interesting to deliver a fiery show, topless.
