Parrot Bebop Drone Event Berlin

Apparently, drones are the new thing and they are getting more and more popular around the globe. The French wireless products manufacturer Parrot hosted an event, to celebrate the German launch of its newest product, the Bebop Drone, on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at the Tempelhof Airport in Berlin.

We got invited to test-drive the new drone, flying through the check-in hall of Europe’s largest historical monument, controlling the drone whether with a tablet, the sky-controller or a Virtual Reality Headset.

IFA14 – Consumer Electronics Unlimited

The world‘s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, the “Internationale Funkausstellung (International Radio Show)” or just IFA 2014 took place in Berlin this week.

Over 1000 exhibitors from over 30 countries presented a comprehensive display of consumer electronic products and services. Smartphones, Smart Watches, Smart TVs and Smart Washing Machines, this year with completely new buzzwords like “4k“, “UHD” and “Curved TV“.

UdSSR Space Capsule visits Berlin

A former Soviet space capsule was exhibited at the Jüdische Mädchenschule in Berlin from April 4-7. The capsule, named Vozvrashchayemyi Apparat, is scheduled to be sold at auction in Brussels on May 7.

The 1850kg heavy device, which could carry three astronauts, went to the moon and back two times in the late 1970s. Two Sokol-KV2 Space Suits were also displayed together with the interior electronics.

Grand Opening of Apple’s Flagship Store in Berlin

Apple’s new flagship store opened its doors today in Berlin, at Kurfuerstendamm 26, which was once the first true movie theaters in the city, opened in 1913 under the name Filmbühne Wien, or Union Palast.

The Store, which is one of 406 Apple stores worldwide, 81 in Europe, is the biggest Apple store in the European region with 5000 m² sales area on 2 floors including a cinema and a briefing room.

According to Apple, about 200 employees from 20 different nations are working in that store, speaking 18 different languages. 40 Tables are showing off Apple’s products, they were made out of oak-wood from German forests and the interior and exterior walls are made of 100-year-old muschelkalk.

Playstation Vita Launch-Event Berlin


Sony’s new Handheld, the PlayStation Vita will be available tomorrow in every store in Germany, but the launch party was held today at Sony Center, Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. People who bought the PS-Vita today, got an extra free Launch-Day-Bundle, which contains a 4GB memory card, blue PS-Vita earbuds and 3 downloadable games (via PSN): Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Little Deviants and WipEout 2048.

The first customer who bought a Vita today, was photographed and interviewed by the local press, after that, all of the about 250 waiting gamers were able to get hands on their very own console.

Apple Flagship Store Coming to Berlin

According to some rumors, Apple will open a new store at Kurfürstendamm 26 in Berlin. It will be Apple’s flagship store in Germany with 5000 m² on 6 floors, so there will be plenty of space for every apple product ever made.

The building, once used by Microsoft as a showroom location, was one of the first true movie theaters in the city, opened in 1913 under the name Union Palace.

IFA11 – Get In Touch


IFA 2011 is coming to an end, tomorrow will be the last chance to visit the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances.

The world’s most important and largest trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, IFA 2011, began on 2 September with a further 4 per cent increase in the rented display area and 1,441 exhibitors (+ 1%). Taking as its slogan this year “Get in touch”, it resumes its successful progress as it continues to consolidate its leading position in the world.

Surely I went there to see what’s new on the market and of course I took a couple of pictures to give you some impressions from this year’s trade show.
