World Press Photo Exhibition Berlin 2015

On its tour around the globe, the the World Press Photo exhibition took place from 5 June to 28 June 2015 at the Willy-Brandt-Haus in Berlin, celebrating its 60th anniversary and featuring over 100 award-winning photographs in 8 different categories.

This year, World Press Photo received 97912 pictures from 5692 photographers around the world.

World Press Photo Exhibition Berlin 2014


The results of the 2014 World Press Photo Contest were announced on February 14 out of 98,671 pictures from 5,754 photographers and the official exhibition was held in Berlin from June 13 until July 3, 2014.

Featuring over 100 award-winning photographs in 8 different categories, the exhibition will travel through over 100 cities around the globe.

World Press Photo Exhibition Berlin 2012

The World Press Photo 2012 Exhibition is being held right now at Berlin Friedrichstraße Station until the 22nd of October. The Exhibition contains over 150 pictures from all over the world, events that happened in 2011. The winners were selected from over 100,000 images submitted to the contest and all the prize-winning photographs are assembled into an exhibition that travels to 45 countries over the course of a year.

Wild Wonders of Europe Exhibition Berlin

A collection of amazing photographs showing the European wildlife can be seen in front of Berlin’s Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) from 22 May to 27 July 2012. Wild Wonders of Europe, a unique outdoor photo exhibition on biological diversity in Europe presented by the Federal Environment Ministry of Germany.

100 Photographs, taken in all 48 countries of Europe, reflect the natural wonders of our continent, with the the goal to raise the visitors’ awareness of the value and the delicate balance of nature.

World Press Photo Exhibition Berlin 2011

During the last week, the World Press Photo organization held an exhibition at Berlin’s S-Bahn Station Friedrichstraße, showing the winners of the World Press Photo Award 2011.

World Press Photo is an independent, non-profit organization based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Founded in 1955 the organization is known for holding the world’s largest and most prestigious annual press photography contest.

The Exhibition contained over 100 pictures from all over the world, events that happened in 2010. A complete Gallery with all pictures can be found at www.worldpressphoto.org, some of these pictures may not be suitable for children’s eyes.
