World War Z German Premiere Berlin

World War Z, the apocalyptic horror movie directed by Marc Forster and written by Matthew Michael Carnahan celebrated its German-Premiere today in Berlin.

The Movie tells the story of a zombie pandemic, which spreads across the globe, threatening to destroy humanity itself.

Brad Pitt, of course together with Angelina Jolie (who celebrated her 38th birthday today), and the German-Swiss director Marc Foster walked the carpet through the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz.

Star Trek Into Darkness German Premiere Berlin

Today was the German Premiere for the upcoming Sequel to J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek Saga: Star Trek Into Darkness, in the middle of the Sony Center in Berlin.

It was the biggest German Premiere so far and after the cast (Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Alice Eve, Zachary Quinto and Simon Pegg) discovered the city of Berlin over the weekend, they walked the black carpet together with director J.J. Abrams, cheered by hundreds of screaming fans.

A Good Day to Die Hard World Premiere Berlin

Yippee ki-yay, M*th*rf*ck*r, it’s a good day to die hard.

Two days before the official start of the Berlinale 2013, the world premiere of A good Day to Die Hard (ger: Stirb langsam – Ein guter Tag zum Sterben) took place in Berlin. Jai Courtney (who plays John McClane son Jack), the German actor Sebastian Koch (who plays the Russian Komarov) and the one and only Bruce Willis together with his wife Emma Heming-Willis walked the carpet in the middle of the Sony Center, surrounded by hundreds of screaming fans.

Django Unchained German Premiere Berlin

This German Movie Premiere was different, for the first time, the director was as famous as the cast itself. Quentin Tarantino’s newest Movie Django Unchained celebrated its German Premiere today, of course, at the Sony Center Potsdamer Platz in Berlin.

The American western tells the story about a freed slave who treks across America together with a bounty hunter, on a mission to rescue his wife.

Quentin Tarantino himself was present, together with Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington. Leonardo DiCaprio was absent due to an urgent appointment.

Total Recall German Premiere Berlin

The 2012 remake of the 1990 released movie Total Recall had its German Premier today in Berlin at Sony Center Potsdamer Platz with Colin Farrell, Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel and director Len Wiseman.

The movie is about the factory worker, Douglas Quaid, who begins to suspect that he is a spy after visiting Rekall, a company that provides its clients with implanted fake memories of a life they would like to have led. Also, the story does not include a trip to Mars.

So, I wouldn’t say it’s a complete remake, the story is based on the 1966 short story written by Philip K. Dick with a few similarities.
